We interupt this life to bring you our blog.....

I know... No excuses.... except my life is so crazy. I'll need to write everything down so I won't forget anything. We have moved into our new home. That is craziness in itself. Since the first day we moved in we have had visitors with us. Kim and her family have been staying with us from Iowa, and now my dear friend Chelsea is with us for the weekend. Still in boxes.... Can't pass up on any fun. Mostly unpacking in evening. Kim is back with us again on Sunday until Thursday. We are having so much fun. Saw a great art exhibit down at the BYU art museum. Walter Wick and Dan Steinhilber. AMAZING! Go check it out. Our kids had a blast.



Totally forgot Snowbird. We always have a fun, relaxing time at Snowbird. Just was there last week. Had fun with all the family that came up for a visit. More to come later. Miss ya.

Guess what we are up too?

These are some of my favorite things about our home. I love the Spring flowers that pop up all by there selves. So beautiful. I'm so glad I planted perennials from the beginning. We have been in our home for 8 years now, it's been good to us. It will be difficult to say goodbye.





This is what has taken up all of my time the last week and a half.







It's a good thing I believe in miracles. I need a miracle to help me get through these next couple of weeks.

Saturday fun

I'm so jealous of Kevin sometimes on Saturdays. While i'm off at work, they are always doing something fun. Here are some pictures of a day at the skate park. My kids are really playing the rebel part. Love the do-rags and head bands. I know, someone is jumping my daughter on a scooter, but Kevin assured me that he was really high up. Still freaked me out and we had a little talk about letting kids jump our children on any type of recreational board. It was a great day for all. Notice our little poser Breeze. She is getting so big, and so much attitude. Not in a bad way. She is such a good girl. Glad dad got the day to play with our little ones.

Spring skiing?

More like winter. But I loved every minute of it. Thanks to my good friend Chris, we went up to Deer Valley yesterday for some skiing. I have never skied there. It was so much fun. Too many moguls for Chris, but plenty for me!!! I had a great work out and loved being in the powder. There was a moment there when I was on the lift by myself and I looked straight up in the air and watched the big huge flakes falling down on my face. Cold play was playing on my ipod, and I thought, "This is perfect. This is my heaven." Thanks Kevin for working from home and watching the kids. We did have a surprise showing on the house too. He is an angel. I'm a better person to be around because of him and this day. Love it!!

Blogging hiatuis

It seems I don't have alot of time on my hands lately. Especially for blogging. The main purpose of this blog was.... 1. A journal. I am terrible about writing in my journal. I have been much better at blogging. 2. It's a way for my family and friends who live out of state to see what we are up to.

I still want to keep blogging, it just may be a bit more simplified.

My apprenticeship is coming to an end. 7 more weeks left. I can't believe how fast time flies. I have been studying and preparing for my cosmetology test everyday. It seems like most of my day is taken up by work and school and kids. Things will be a lot easier here at the Ohlson home when that is done. This is what Breeze has been doing with her dad in the mornings when I am at the salon.

Isn't that the funniest thing. This was Kevin's Christmas gift. If you haven't noticed he is getting a little more chiseled in the chest area since he has been working out twice a week for about 20 minutes. All I have to say is "NO FAIR!!" I go to the gym and work out 4 to 5 times a week and hour or more a time and I have not had such results. Do we expect anything different from a women's body.



He, he, he.... it's the cutest thing ever.



This is when I take a day off at the gym and do a little Yoga at home. She is my shadow.



She is the cutest. She cut her own bangs last week. Surprise, surprise. Doesn't every girl at one time or another cut her hair. I think especially one that watches her mom cut hair all the time. First she blamed it on Britton. I asked Britton, very nicely if he did it and he broke down crying. So mad that I would even ask him. Finally she told her dad later that day that is was her. I had to give her Audry Hepburn bangs. They are cute. I can't wait for them to grow back. Sorry there are no pictures of it. I have not taken very many pictures lately. I will today and post it.

Hayley's comet, I mean comment.

My cute sister Hayley is my first, and one of my most loyal clients. She always let's me try something different. I love her for that. Anything works on her. Here is her HOT new do. LOVE IT!!!
